Gloria Faye Hale Warren went to her heavenly home on May 27, 2025, surrounded by her family at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother to her family and a friend to many.
She was born December 1, 1937, to Hazel G. Hale and Euree Garrett Hale, she lived in the Hurricane Community and was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church for many years. She loved her church family and enjoyed preparing food for church events. She married Kenneth Warren in April 20, 1956, and they shared 69 years of marriage together.
Gloria’s working career included many years at Ram Golf and the Riveria Shirt Factory. After her working years, she enjoyed being outside working in her flowers and garden. Her greatest joy came from babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Hurricane Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M., Prior to service, visitation will be from 12 to 2 P.M. at the church. Bro. Philip Brock and Bro. Kevin Merritt will officiate. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband, Kenneth Warren; her three children, Kenny Warren (Lois Ann), James Warren (Marsha), and Tina Ross (Brent); eleven grandchildren, Sabrina Davidson (Max), Chancey Terry (Nathan), Drew Warren (Ashlynne), Jessica Hall, Sam Warren (Haley), Calen Walker, Eason Walker (Madison), Emily Walker (Ethan), Tyler Browning, Brick Ross, Belle Moroney (Wyatt); ten great-grandchildren, Gracie and Maggie McClain, Ethan and Luke Terry, Hadley Davidson, Minnie-Lee and Mamie-Ann Hall, Otis Warren, Paeton Walker, and Waylon Moroney; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel G. and Euree Hale; grandparents, Amory and Donna Williams Hale, William Monroe and Sally Eula Garrett, and a brother, Larry Hale.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Sam Warren, Drew Warren, Calen Walker, Eason Walker, Tyler Browning and Ethan Terry.
