Some favorite memories of the "Short House" are helping pick vegetables, asking what kind of vegetables were growing in that garden over there and Mr. Hugh said "cotton" with no judgmental voice, just a long look at Lucretia! going to hunting camp with Lucretia and listening to Mr. Hugh's hunting stories. I will truly miss the humble house, warm welcome and nostalgia of Mr. Hugh. I further wish comfort and peace for the family.
