Oh my...what a great guy! I heard about this yesterday and it just broke my heart...the whole family is just as sweet as can be and I certainly hold the memories close. God bless you all.

When we lived across the street from the Pruett family, our families were close friends. One weekend we were brave enough to go camping together~ the Curbow family (complete with our little Poodle, Gypsy), the Pruett family and Sam Leo Howell, who was the adopted son of both families. That was a fun weekend and we talked about it for years whenever we got together! My girls and I always enjoyed visiting with Ken when we were back in Pontotoc.

How can one compress all the memories into one brief statement? When I think of Daddy Ken, I remember smiles, fun and a joy in being with not only his children, but the ones they brought home and were subsequently treated as family. I felt like I belonged there, in their home, as family. You can't put a price on memories like that and how they made you feel. I will carry them with me always and treasure each and every one.
