Leonard "Lenny" Welch

Leonard J. “Lenny” Welch passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2026, at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born June 27, 1951, to Leonard and Patricia Mora Welch. Lenny served his country through the National Guard. He enjoyed driving a truck and visiting new places. His greatest joy came from fishing and being a "Papa" to his grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial will be held later.

Survivors include his wife, Cricket Roth Welch, three daughters, Lori Welch, Paris Mitchell (Lige), and Sidney Workman, one son, Lenny Welch, a sister, Cheryl Carroll, four brothers, Randy Welch, Patrick Welch, Jeff Devers, and Jim Devers, and his seven grandchildren, Halo, Cross, Gage, Lucas, Brooke, Taylre, and Tanna.

Lenny was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Valerie.
