Louise Forman

Effie “Louise” Forman, 96, passed away on September 20, 2023 at Pontotoc Health and Rehab. Louise was born in Pontotoc, MS on April 4, 1927 to Jim and Jessie Tackett. She was a factory worker and homemaker. Louise loved working in her yard and growing flowers. She had so much love for her kids, 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grands. Louise was a Christian and loved telling you about her Jesus.

Funeral services and visitation will all be at her home church, Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2023, with the service starting at 1PM, with Rev. Mike Ratliff and Bro. Tim Forman (grandson) officiating. The family will have a graveside service at Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include Jimmy Forman (Loyce), Bobby Forman (Hazel), Kay Whitehead (Gerry), David Forman, Denise Rackley, a daughter-in-law, Joyce Forman, and a brother, Clyde Tackett (Margaret).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Lee Forman; a son, Tommy Forman; a grandson, Marty Forman, a son-in-law, Terry Rackley and five siblings.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Forman, Jacob Forman, Russell Graham, Jacob Weeks, Daniel Forman and Andrew Rackley. Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Forman, Tucker Rackley, Logan Williams and Brandon Tirado.
