Mary Helen Browning Bledsoe

Mary Helen Bledsoe, age 73, died Thursday, August 08, 2013 at the Pontotoc Health Services in Pontotoc, MS. She was a member of the Harvest Time Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed Bluegrass and Southern Gospel music, sewing, gardening, bird watching, spending time with her family and grandchildren and cooking, she never turned anyone away from her table. She was a Pastor’s wife for many years at the Tupelo Community Church.

Services will be at 3 PM Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Bro. David Hall officiating; burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her children: Sharon Bledsoe, Debra Bledsoe-White, Susan Bledsoe and John Noel “Chuck” Bledsoe, Jr. ; her siblings: Faye Cirrilli, Frances Harmon, Frank Browning, Jimmy Browning, Danny Browning and Timmy Browning; fourteen grandchildren: Tori Sanders, Christie Brumley (Boyd), Matthew McCary (Tiffiany), Tiffany Bledsoe, Jacob Frost, Browning Reynolds, Noelle White, Shawna Bledsoe-Rogers (Josh), Leah Frost, John Noel Bledsoe III, Ryan Mason, Laurna McBride, Zander White and Peighton Bledsoe and seven great grandchildren: Keaira Biggs, Piper Brumley, Christopher Daughtery, Brady McCary, Alexa Eastman, Shaid George and Brantlee Moore and many more that called her “Mamaw”, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis Henry Browning and Mattie Louise Holland Browning; her husband: John Noel Bledsoe, Sr., her daughter: Lisa Lynne Reynolds; and a brother: Louis Henry Browning.

Pallbearers will be: Nathan Dorris, Boyd Brumley, Zander White, Marty Jones, Ryan Mason, Joshua Rogers and John Noel Bledsoe III.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Saturday and from 1 to 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
