Mary Wilder, age 95, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Sunshine Health Care in Pontotoc. She was born May 19, 1923 to Walter Brown and Nona Pearl Gaines Brown. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and retired from Futorian Furniture Manufacturing. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, “Oscar Lee” and reading her Bible. She loved her family, her church and church family and most importantly her Lord.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Derrick Finley officiating; burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Anita Fitzgerald (Gregg) of New Albany, MS; a son, Rev. Tommy Wilder (Neva) of Hickory Flat, MS; five grandchildren, Roger Wilder (Kelly), Mike Wilder (Nan), Joey Wilder (Jennifer), Emily Fitzgerald and Kyle Fitzgerald (Catherine); and seven-great-great grandchildren, Taylor Wilder, Ashton Wilder, Chandler Henderson (Jay), Connor Wilder, Carson Wilder, Miles Wilder and Lorelai Wilder, she was very excited for the arrival of Cannon James Fitzgerald, due in next few weeks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Frank Wilder, three sisters, Ora Lee Witt, Bertha Scruggs and Earline Brown; and three brothers, Floyd Brown, Hershel Brown and Paul Brown.

Pallbearers will be Roger Wilder, Mike Wilder, Joey Wilder, Kyle Fitzgerald, Connor Wilder, Carson Wilder and Taylor Wilder.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday and from 1 to 2 PM Monday, all at Liberty Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Liberty Cemetery Fund, C/O Gregg Fitzgerald, 1438 CR 107, New Albany, MS 38652.
