Mavis Maureen Garrison

Mavis Maureen Garrison, age 97, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her residence. She was retired from Production Credit in Aberdeen, MS. She was a Methodist. She enjoyed sewing, working crossword puzzles and flower arranging.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc, with Rev. Kenneth Corley officiating; burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and her special caregiver: Christina Wardlow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Jessie Garrison and Ida Anita Patterson Garrison, and twelve sisters and brothers.

Pallbearers will be: Mike Wingo, Chad Coleman, Donald Coleman, Lee Chrestman, Flint Foster and Eddie Foster.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
