Mildred Brazil age 89, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at NMMC Pontotoc. She was a member of Algoma Baptist Church and retired from Brookwood Manufacturing. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, cooking and spending time with her family.
Services will be at 10 AM Saturday at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Smith officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc City Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter: Sandra Fair and husband Landis of Algoma, MS; one sister: Addie Corder of Algoma, MS; two grandchildren: Lori Rape and husband Larry and Corey Capwell and husband Jamie all of Algoma, MS; two great grandchildren: Cailyn Rape and Cayson Capwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lonnie McKnight and Mary Lou Foster McKnight; her husband: James Brazil and her siblings: Irene Saxon, Gladys McDonald, Edwin “Dude” McKnight, Raymond McKnight, Lonnie Mae McKnight and Leonard McKnight.
Pallbearers will be: Jamie Capwell, Larry Rape, Mike Brazil, Richey Crew, Riley Seale, William Boyd McKnight, Daniel Stegall and Dennis Corder.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
