Roger Dale Williams, 81, passed away on March 20, 2026, at his home. He was born on March 2, 1945, to Hoy and Anna Irene Williams. Roger will be remembered as a beloved, kind-hearted man whose presence meant comfort and steadiness to those who knew him.
Roger loved playing dominoes at the community center, and he loved his family deeply. Finding joy in time spent together, shared stories, and the simple moments that became lasting memories.
Roger is survived by his sisters Elaine Bishop (George), Diane Bishop (David), Vickie Bishop (Dan), Sue Perkins (William), Nancy Johnson (Ricky), Peggy Moody (Glenn), Cindy Vaughn (Patrick), Wendy Waldron (Allen), and Janis Huffstickler (Wayne); and brothers David Williams (Sherri), Ricky Williams (Sherry), and Darren Williams. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Hoy Williams; his mother, Anna Irene Williams; and his sister, Melissa Williams. As well as many aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Chris Waldron, Dustin Dees, Greg Bishop, Josh Germany, Steven Messer, Brandon Messer and Jeremy Moody.
Visitation will be held on March 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Browning Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow on March 22, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Williams Family.
