

Ted G. Davis, age 48, died Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pontotoc, a graduate of Pontotoc High School Class of 1981, an engineer at Masterbilt in New Albany,MS, and a member of the Civitans. He enjoyed duck hunting, baseball, riding motorcycles, and watching his son play baseball. He was a fantastic husband, father, son and brother.
Services will be at 11 AM Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Pontotoc with Dr. Ken Hester officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife: Darlene Gates Davis of Pontotoc, MS; his son: Blake Davis of the home; his parents: Bobby G. and Wanda M. Davis; his brother: Tracy Davis (Angie) of Pontotoc; seven nieces and nephews: Madison and Aston Davis, Mitch McCoy, John David Gates, Casey Gates, Brandi Brown and Casey Sappington and three great nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Mitch McCoy, Ben Howard, Wally Henry, David Tutor, Tracy Davis, Perry Sewell, David Mitchell and Al Duff.
The visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday from 9 to 11 AM.
