
Thelma Ruth Patterson Todd, age 92, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Pontotoc Nursing Home. She was a member of West Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pontotoc Home Makers Club and enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, quilting, needle work and sharing her fried apple pies.
Services will be at 2 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Rev. David Hamilton officiating; burial will follow in the West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter: Sarah Todd Winter (Ken) of Saltillo, MS; two sons: Pat Todd (Sherry) of Ecru, MS and Phil Todd (Teresa) of Pontotoc, MS; four sisters: Wilma Hattox, Pontotoc, MS, Cornelia Conlee of Pontotoc, MS, Mary Loyce Purvis of Ecru, MS and Dot King of Pontotoc, MS; four grandchildren: Todd Winter (Sarah), Patrick Winter, Gina Owen (Mike) and Michael Todd (Rachel); five great grandchildren: Tristan, Stella, Chase, Haylee and Case.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Monard Patterson and Oma Cruse Patterson; her husband: James Kenneth Todd; a son: Charles Kenneth Todd; three brothers: Stanley Ford Patterson, Carl Wayne Patterson and an infant baby brother; and two sisters: Gynell Akers and Maxine Johnson.
Pallbearers will be: Chase Owen, Tim Conlee, Frankie Patterson, Larry Conlee, Rodney Akers and Stan Patterson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and from 12:30 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
