William Randle “Randy” Rye, age 56, died Friday, February 15, 2013 at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born December 30, 1956 to William Thomas “Tom” Rye and Mary Alice Stegall Rye. He graduated from South Pontotoc High School in 1974 and was a Farmer.
Services will be at 2 PM Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home Chpael in Pontotoc, with Rev. Earl Barron officiating; burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his Mother: Mary Alice Stegall Rye of Pontotoc, MS; his sister: Stephanie Rye (Lonnie) of Pontotoc and a several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father: William Thomas “Tom” Rye.
Pallbearers will be: Donnie Homan, Mitch Hunter, Jesse Johnson, Kenny King, Roger Stegall and Jay Poe. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Earnest, James William Stegall and Thomas Stone.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday and from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
