Willie Frank Stark, Jr., age 86, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born July 19, 1932 to Willie Frank Stark, Sr. and Virginia Leech Stark. Willie was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was a dairyman, farmer and business owner. Willie was a Korean War Veteran. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Justin Stark officiating; burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Bramlett Stark; his daughter, Leita Stark; two sons, Eric Stark (Kathy), a Tim Stark; five grandchildren, Willie Frank Stark IV “Wylie” (Amanda), Justin Stark (Cassie), Jared Sparks (Kayce), Micah Sparks and Amanda Raines (Shane); and nine great grandchildren, Ambrie Anna Stark, Willie Frank Stark V “Frank”, Easton Nathaniel Stark, Gracyn Lee Stark, John Luke Stark, Tatum Olivia Sparks, Tyler Raines, Bailey Raines and Gella Brook Raines.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Willie Frank Stark III; and two sisters, Frances Stark and Joyce Lawson.
Pallbearers will be Willie Frank Stark IV, “Wylie”, Willie Frank Stark V, “Frank”, Jared Sparks, Don Farr, Dean Farr and Tim Ragland. Honorary Pallbearer will be Easton Nathaniel Stark.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday and from 12 to 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
