Alice Kinsler Gamble was called home by her Savior on December 31, 2020 at the age of 87. Alice was a devoted loving mother and wife. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends; she was passionate about her work with the Lutheran Braille Workers through First United Methodist Church, where she volunteered for over 20 years. Born in New Orleans, LA, Alice retired to Lumberton, MS in 1986. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, H.O. (Buddy) Gamble; grandson Sean Gamble; brother-in-law Edmond Gorman; son-in law J. Mark Stafford and parents William and Mattie Kinsler. She is survived by her sister Olive K. Gorman; three children Michael Gamble (wife Alison), David Gamble and Diane Stafford; three grandchildren Scott Gamble, Rachel S. Day (husband Travis) and Joshua Stafford and her great grandson Colton Gamble. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no public viewing. Graveside Service will be held at the Gamble cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church 708 S Julia St. Poplarville, MS 39470 (please add Lutheran Braille Center on memo).
