Archie Ray Wise departed this life into God’s care on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the age of 77. Archie was born to Cornelius and Dauline Wise on May 14, 1947 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. After graduating from Picayune Memorial High School, he attended Pearl River Community College until being drafted into the United States Army, where he faithfully served his country. Archie served in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. After a thirty year career with the United States Postal Service, he retired to enjoy fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Katherine Miller Wise; son, Scott (Heather) Wise; three daughters, Melanie (Reuben) Watts, Susan (Bobby) Benefield and Sheri (Rick) Hollander; sister, Nelline Wise Lee; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
