Bea Bond

March 16, 1938April 10, 2013

Bea M. Bond, 75, of Poplarville, Misissippi passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the care of her family.

A native of Maryland, Ms. Bond was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church; served as cook for the Pearl River Baptist Association during many mission trips stateside and abroad; and was an Election Commissioner with Pearl River County from November 1998 until December 2008.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Schuyler and Lilly Helferstay Marks.

Survivors include three sons, Brian (Andrea) Bond of Poplarville, MS, Kirk Bond of Biloxi, MS, and Lance Bond of Poplarville, MS; one daughter, Donna (Eddie) Chester of Lumberton, MS; one brother, Armond (Sue) Marks of Dacula, GA ; five grandchildren, Chris Bond, Rachel Bond, Jason Bond, Hollie Chester, and Nicholas Chester; and one niece, Linda (Jerry) Robbins.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Juniper Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Friday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Deacons of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.

Ms Bea will be surely missed by all. When we remember her we will always remember her smile. She had a smile that was contagious to everyone around her. Her devotion to her church and her family was never ending.
