Bennie James Morgan

B.J. was born July 28, 1988 in Picayune, Mississippi to Joseph R. Morgan and Rosemary Bonner Morgan. He was a truck driver by trade and a member of New Welcome Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, and above all - spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Bertha Morgan and maternal grandmother, Lena Mae Bonner; one uncle, Benjamin Bonner.

Family members include one daughter, Akiyah Fairley; his parents, Joe Morgan and Rosemary Morgan; grandfather, Benny James Bonner; one brother, Raymond (Uaketha) Bonner; one sister, Judy (Larry) Herd; one niece, Akirah Herd; two nephews, Elijah Bonner, Malakhi Bonner; a host of aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi, 39470 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Dave Monday Cemetery, Poplarville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
