Betty Enid Dossett-Alexander

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 21, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Poplarville for Betty Enid Dossett Alexander, 86, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Thursday January 19, 2012 in Pearl River County Hospital, Poplarville. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville.

A native of Shepreth, England she was a retired Office Manager with Coast Electric Power Association in Poplarville and a member of First United Methodist Church in Poplarville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Archibald and Sarah Searle Dossett; her husband, Oree Alexander; one grand-daughter Monica Lisa Alexander; two brothers, Bill Dossett and Jack Dossett; and three sisters, Mavis Mayhew, Nancy Fletcher, and Edith Grimes.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Alexander and his wife Mary of Poplarville, MS and Brett Alexander and his wife Teresa of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Margaret Alexander Ladner of Poplarville; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2012 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
