Betty Lou Hickman

Mrs. Hickman was born April 17, 1933 in Poplarville, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Franklin Lee, Sr. and Myrtle Chadwick Lee; her husband, Ewel Hickman; one son, Harold Hickman; and several brothers and sisters.

Family members include three children, Janice (Robert) Byrd, Barbara (Timothy) Stout, Mark (Missy) Hickman; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Sturgis, Brynn (Wayne) Burdick, Timothy Stout, Jessica (Chris) Saucier, Jeremiah (Elizabeth) Stout, Stone (Catie) Hickman, Kelton (Alexis) Hickman; five great grandchildren, Landon Burdick, Brayden Saucier, Paityn Saucier, Kennedy Saucier, Greyson Hickman, Baby Sturgis (expected later this year); a host of brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Red Hill Baptist Church (22 Stone County Rd, Lumberton, MS, 39455) on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Louis Seals Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
