Billie Dove Evans of Poplarville, Mississippi was born to John Wells Sr. and Elsie Mae Frye Dove on January 13, 1933 in Poplarville. She passed away on September 8, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital at the age of 90.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one sister, Elsie Dove Anders Leverett of Kerrville, TX, numerous nieces and nephews and her Golden Retriever, Beaux.
Billie served in the U.S. Army and then worked for the Civil Service in Biloxi until retirement.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am at White Funeral Home with burial to immediately follow at Poplarville City Cemetery.
