Brenda Vizier Smith

A native of Louisiana, Brenda always considered Poplarville to be special and after living in 6 states, found her way back home. It was there she built lasting friendships, raised her family, and created a lifetime of memories.

She was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and remarkable resilience. She found joy in life’s simple blessings and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Stacy Hickman (Steven Smith) and Danielle Hardy; her beloved grandchildren, Zak Hickman, Hannah Hickman, Elizabeth Hardy, Breanne Hickman, and Nathaniel Hardy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolte and Isabel Vizier, and brothers, Rodney and James Vizier.

A memorial service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Poplarville, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring a life well lived.
