She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wayne Smith; parents, Bill and Roberta Wood; four sisters and three brothers.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her two sons, Caney Jr. Sones and Thomas Joe Sones; two step-children, Seila Wullenweber and Keith Smith; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Alberta, Myrtle, Lillie, Eugene, Lottie, Nancy and Lou; a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Carolyn's graveside service on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Juniper Grove Cemetery, 289 Juniper Grove Road, Poplarville, Mississippi.
In Lieu of flowers, Carolyn's wishes were for donations to be made to St. Jude.
