Carroll Ingram

Carroll Helena Zoll Ingram passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2026 at the age of 91. She has one surviving sibling, Charlotte Zoll Schomaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bryan Ingram; her parents, Thelma Augusta Shanks Zoll and Carl Michael Zoll; her sister, Thelma Zoll Everhardt; and her brother, Carl Michael Zoll Jr.

She had a good life and is well survived by her children, Lynda Shoalmire (Mike), John Ingram, Rebecca Wright McDougle, and Paul Bradley Ingram (Jackie); eight grandchildren, DJ Shoalmire (Brittany), Chris Shoalmire, Kelly Ingram (Matt), Ryan Ingram, Cody Ingram, Andrea Wright Arnott (Michael), Brett Wright (Kierstin), and Megan McDougle Arroyo-Rodriguez (Angel); and eleven great-grandchildren Aimee Shoalmire, Bryan Shoalmire, Ryland Shoalmire, Bentley Wright, Hayley Wright, Maverick Wright, Liam Wright, Bodhi Wright, Kamryn Arnott, Holton Arnott, and Mariela Arroyo-Rodriguez.

Carroll was born and raised in Metairie LA. When she married Paul, they moved to St. Mary’s WV to raise their family. They lived there until they sold Island Creek Farms. In retirement, they briefly lived in Sarasota FL and then a stint in Flagstaff AZ. Their final move was to Poplarville MS, where they were close to family.

Following her wishes, Carroll will be cremated. A small celebration of life will be held privately for family and close friends later in the year.
