Comeldia Herndon

Mrs. Herndon was a retired lace spreader with Movie Star, Inc. and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. Her family was the most important aspect of her life.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Her parents, Elbert and Della Saucier Dedeaux precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Hilton Herndon, Sr.; one daughter, Lisa (Terry) Shiveley; one son, Hilton (Michele) Herndon, Jr.; one speical son, Keith Ladner; two brothers, Elvin (Elizabeth) Dedeaux and Quinton (Linda) Dedeaux; two sisters, Sylvia (the late Glen) Boyles and Mavis (Doug) Herndon; five grandchildren, Brittany Herndon, Tyler Herndon, Sara Ladner, Tanner Herndon, and Sharley Shiveley; two great-grandchildren, Parris Brennae and Terry Shiveley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, February 22, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470 with interment following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
