Cynthia Ann Boone

Cynthia Anne Boone departed this life into God’s presence on Thursday, October 26. 2023 at the age 64. She was born on October 19, 1959 in Laurel, Mississippi to Roger and Merle Hurtt. Cynthia attended Jones County Community College where she obtained her nursing degree. She was a long time nurse at Pearl River County Hospital and a resident of Poplarville. When Cynthia wasn’t caring for patients, she enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren and thrift and antique shopping.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by her daughters, April Spradley and Emily Boone and her brother, Roger Hurtt.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her husband of 28 years, Timmy Boone; daughters, Lisa Spradley and Shawna Loper (John); her son, Vince Spradley (Stephanie), her sister, Janie Jordan (Anthony); three brothers, Bobby Joe Hurtt (Crystal), Stevie Hurtt and Jimmy Hurtt; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Jacob Smith, will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Red Hill Baptist Church at 12:00pm. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 10:00am until the service begins. Burial will immediately follow at East Pearl Cemetery.
