He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Mary Ann Holmes; two daughters, Reya and Brittany Holmes; two sisters, Vivian Rogers (Robert) and Elizabeth Martin; one brother, Dewey L. Holmes, III (Dede) , a host of nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his father Dewey Lee Holmes, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday, October 1, 2016 for 1:00 pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Juniper Grove Cemetery.
