Eva Mae Spiers

Mrs. Spiers was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Eva will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Velma Slade; her husband, John Monroe Spiers, Sr., one son, John Monroe Spiers, Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Amy Dell Spiers of Ocean Springs, MS, one brother, Claude Slade; one sister, Arnette Coffey, both of Poplarville, MS; three grandchildren, Missy Breland of Poplarville, MS, Crystal Spiers of Charlotte, NC, Eric Gomez of Enon, LA; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at 3:00 pm, Monday, January 7, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS 39470 with interment following in the Poplarville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service, Monday at the funeral home.
