A native of Loranger, Louisiana she was born Tuesday October 20, 1925 to James Alfred and Ada Golda Thielman-Douglas. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Joseph J. Lamonte and his wife Penny of Picayune, Miss.; one daughter, Charlene M. Lamonte of Mobile, Alabama; six grandchildren, Vincent J. Lamonte and his wife Amber, Michael J. Lamonte and his wife Penny, Deborah A. Lamonte, Lathen J. Lamonte, Katie M. Pollard and her husband Wes, and Emily C. Martin; five great-grandchildren, Erica Lamonte, Lauren Lamonte, Isabella Lamonte, Luke Lamonte, and Noah Lamonte.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Lamonte in 1989 and eleven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
