James Hillary Wells

James was born September 19, 1963 in Picayune, Mississippi to Hazel Wyman Wells and John Hillary Wells. He was a graduate of Delgado Community College and a retired insulator with Asbestos Workers Union, Local 53 in New Orleans. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Above all, he cherished time with his family, most especially his grandchildren.

James is survived by; son Shawn Hillary (Jennifer) Wells; and daughter Shelia Renee Wells; sister Ann Wells (Freddie) Hoggatt, sister Sue Wells (Thomas) Pullens and brother Curtis Wells; grandchild Bryan Foster, grandchild Brittany Foster, grandchild Shauna Wells, grandchild Brianna Foster, grandchild David Wells, grandchild Dominick Wells, niece Krystal (Ray) Mendoza, nephew Kenneth (Brooke) Pullens, nephew Vash Wells, great nephew Mason Mendoza, great nephew Easton Pullens, great nephew Sawyer Mendoza and great niece Kenna Pullens.

James was preceded in death by his wife Tammy Wells; father John Hillary Wells and mother Hazel Wyman Wells.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Picayune. The family will receive friends and have visitation from Noon until services, Friday at the funeral home.
