Mrs. Jerry Peters

Funeral services will be at SERENITY LANDMARK MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1079 Old Camp Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in East Pearl Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation Thursday at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm; and one hour prior to the services, Friday at the church.

Mrs. Peters was born May 21, 1931 in Poplarville to Toxie and Mae Tynes Stanford. She was a homemaker and a member of Serenity Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Family members include four children, Anthony (Katherine) Peters, Mickey (Anna) Peters, Vickie (Maury) Regan, Kay (Arnie) Head; two siblings, Susan (Gary) Kite, Garland (Meryl) Stanford; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Peters; one brother, Doug Stanford; and one sister, Willa Jean Brinkman.
