Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday September 4, 2010 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville, for Justin Reid, 27, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Thursday September 2, 2010 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Brother Kevin Wilcox of West Poplarville Baptist Church will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville.

A native of Bogalusa, Louisiana he was born October 7, 1982 to James Kenneth Ray and Patrician Ann Smith – Reid. He was a laborer with Raycon Construction Company and attended West Poplarville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Ann Humphrey of Camby, Indiana; father, Kenny Reid and his wife Monica of Poplarville, Mississippi; son, Elijah Reid of Camby, Indiana; six brothers, Gary Humphrey, Gabriel Humphrey, both of Plainfield, Indiana, Wyatt Reid of Galvez, Louisiana, Jamie Reid, Jonah Reid, Jeremiah Reid, all of Poplarville, Mississippi, and John Reid of Prairieville, Louisiana; step-father, Gary D. Humphrey of Plainfield, Indiana; step-daughter, Trinity Harris; and special friend, Tiffany Harris, both of Camby, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be Friday September 3, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
