Kathryn "Kathy" Jean Odom

Kathy was born on December 19, 1950 in Lebanon, Indiana to William and Ester Myers. She made Poplarville her home and was a devoted wife and mother. She was of the baptist faith and enjoyed attending services at Steephollow Baptist Church. Kathy loved to be pampered and always enjoyed shopping for a bargain.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ester Myers; and her son, Billy Johnson.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her husband, Bud Odom; three daughters, Mary Kathryn Ladner (Russell), Melissa Walker and Paula Cuevas; four sons, Shamus Mayes (Vera), Michael Odom, Carley Odom and Marty Odom; two brothers, Jim Myers (susan) and Larry Myers (Donna); and her daughter-in-law Loretta Johnson. Kathy has 37 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Funeral Services will be held at White Funeral Home in Poplarville on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Noon. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until services begin. Burial will follow in Odom Cemetery assisted by Landan Foil, Russell Ladner, Ezekiel Cuevas, Austin Johnson, Kade Johnson and Jr Johnson serving as pallbearers.
