Kimberly Earline Kemp

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday November 18, 2011 at Olive Baptist Church, Lumberton for Mrs. Kimberly Earline Kemp, 42, of Lumberton who died Tuesday November 15, 2011 at her residence. Brother Brad Miles and Brother Mike Reid will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was a paralegal with the Lamar District Attorney’s Office; a member of Olive Baptist Church; the ASPCA; Brangus Association and a former beautician.

Survivors include her husband, David Kemp; one son, David Lavon Kemp, Jr.; one daughter; Latoria Elizabeth Brown; grandson, William Lavon Kemp; one brother; Michael Thompson; her mother, Lois McQuillen; maternal grandmother, Ruby Boaz; paternal grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Margaret McQuillen; mother and father-in-law, Lavon and Betty Kemp; brothers and sisters-in-law; Danny and Connie Kemp and L.D. and Pam Bounds.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert C. McQuillen, and one brother, Darren S. Thompson.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday November 17, 2011 at Olive Baptist Church, Lumberton.
