Laura Nan Hallgren

Mrs. Hallgren was born February 22, 1937 in Poplarville to Henry Howard and Gladys Spiers Howard. She was a member of Silver Run Baptist Church and a retired secretary and farm manager.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sven "Swede" Hallgren; three siblings, Ruth Graham, Doris Creel, and Henry Albert Howard.

Family members include four children, Mike (Elise) Rester, Randy (Lisa) Rester, Curtis "Dinker" (Kaye) Rester, Dale (Lisa) Rester; one brother, Curt Howard; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
