Lydia “Diane” Hall, 83 departed this life into God’s presence on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. She was a life-long member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Diane was a Christian woman and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family. She enjoyed her ladies group playing dominoes and loved to travel. Diane had a caregiving spirit who loved to help people. She would do anything in the world for anyone. Diane was very independent. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruby Norris; husband, R.C. Hall, Sr. and one sister, Jeanette Herrin.
Left to forever cherish Diane’s memory, one daughter, Lydia Herndon (the late Ricky); one son, Mark E. Waltman (Helen); one step-daughter, Patricia; two step-sons, Terry Hall (Allison) and Larry Hall; one brother, Langham Norris (Elaine); four grandchildren, Mark Ellis Waltman (Danielle), Ashley M. Taylor (Michael), Hannah Starnes (Braeden) and Russell Paul Herndon (Tanya) and 10 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend Diane’s visitation on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi. Diane’s funeral service will be held at White Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Poplarville, Mississippi.
