Marie Saucier Smith

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Steep Hollow Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Kizzie Smith Saucier; three brothers, Flavus Saucier, H.J. Saucier, and Robert Ray Saucier; two sisters, Doris Saucier and Linda Saucier.

Survivors include her husband, Preston Smith of Poplarville, MS; two sons, Tommy Magee of Poplarville, MS and Tracy Hodges of La Vergne, TN; one stepson, Duncan Hodges of Calhoun, LA; two daughters, Ladeen Hutchings of Smyrna, TN and Lisa Gregory of Franklin, TN; four brothers, Lavon Saucier of Winnfield, LA, George Saucier of Grosbeck, TX, Richard Saucier and Elvis Saucier, both of Perkinston, MS; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Steep Hollow Baptist Church, 2336 Highway 53, Poplarville, MS 39470 with interment following in the Smith (Old Steep Hollow) Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
