A native of Pearl River County, Mississippi she was born December 23, 1923 to Mitchell Joseph and Stella Lovelace-McAndrews. She was a retired seamstress with Movie Star, Inc. and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Poplarville.
Survivors include one son, David L. Hyatt and his wife Edna of Vancleave, Mississippi; two daughters, Christine Pritchett and her husband James W. Pritchett, Jr. of Dallas, Georgia and Judy Hyatt of Poplarville, Mississippi; one sister, Robbie Bass of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ulysse Lawrence Hyatt; two brothers, David McAndrews and Frank McAndrews; and one step-brother, Claude King.
