Mrs. Taylor was born July 17, 1939 in Franklin, North Carolina.
Myrtle was has enjoyed serving and providing for others. Her career choices proved that. She work many years as a waitress and then as a school bus driver. She retired at the age of 75 from the Picayune School District. She loved driving a bus and all of her “children”. She attended Harmony Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Brenden - they were “two peas in a pod”.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Dryman and Ressie Rogers Dryman; her husband, Robert E. Taylor; and two siblings, James Dryman and Joan Lynn.
Left to cherish the memories of Myrtle are her two children, Jackie Bellanger (Bob), Sheila DeHart (Rickey); two siblings, Virgil Dryman (Linda), Gracie Thomas; her grandchildren, Kayla Rouse (Scott), Allison Olvera (Johnny), Bobby Bellanger (Leah), Samantha Green (Donquel), Madison DeHart; her great grandchildren, Blayke, Brenden, Brooke, Brantley, Jonathan, Adelina, Jaxie, Aaron, Asher, Jaxson, Rylie, Sydni; and a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS 39470) on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
