Otis was a logger by trade for 45 years. He was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church of Poplarville. Otis was a honorably discharged veteran of World War II, serving in the 100th Infantry Division "Soldiers of the Century". For two years, he was a Prisoner of War in Germany. He was a lifetime fisherman and a member of Sherrard Byrd Masonic Lodge in Poplarville.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Marsh; and his son, Carrey Lynn Lee.
Family members include his loving wife of 44 years, Rose Faye Lee; children, Harrison (Hattie) Davis, John "Peanut" (Regina) Davis; son-in-law, Tony Marsh; grandchildren, Shannon (Brandy) Davis, Shelley (Clint) Pelt, Daniel (Kalyn) Davis, Sabrina (Michael) Brown, Derek (Ashlee) Schrader, Katrina Munna, Regina (Clint) Odom, Zoraina (Tommy) Bilbo, Katherine Lee, J.J. (Maegan) Hay; twenty-four great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at First United Pentecostal Church (444 North Main Street, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 12:00 pm until services, Thursday at the church.
