Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Rev. James Jackson will officiate the service. Private burial will occur at a later date. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 12: 00 pm until services, Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ingram was born September 6, 1931 in Allen, Kentucky to Robert Lee Ingram and Bernice Sauer Ingram. Mr. Ingram was a United States Navy Veteran “Frogman” during the Korean War. He enjoyed politics, history, and farming. During his working life, he worked in various oilfield service positions, was employed with Union Carbide and had owned the Island Marina in St. Mary’s, West Virginia. He was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, three siblings precede him in death, Fred Ingram, Joanne Slaymaker, and Denny Ingram.
Family members include his wife of 53 years, Carroll Zoll Ingram; four children, Lynda Shoalmire (Mike), Becky McDougle (Mike), John Ingram, Brad Ingram (Jackie); eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; close friends, Lee & Nina Bubrig, and the Cuevas Family.
