Condolences, Pete was one of the good guys always willing to help a brother officer out and always had time to chat over a cup of coffee.

Pete (The Blood) always met one with a smile and a helping hand. The NOPD lost one who united when Pete retired and we lost a good friend in his passing. God bless his family.

I am so very sorry to learn this news. I always thoroughly enjoyed speaking with Pete. He was upbeat and interesting in every conversation. He made me "know what it means to miss New Orleans" when I was in his company. My heart goes out to all of those who loved him and will miss him.
