Peyton was a friend of mine and it's been really tough with him gone. I was bored so I thought let me go search his name on safari. When I saw that the sites name is legacy.com it helped me remember that Peyton still lives on from his legacy of bull riding and being one of the best friends someone could ever ask for

Having lost my son Stephen Goode also at age 14, I know you are in just utter shock right now. IF there is ever anything I could do for you, I'd love to try to do whatever - if it meant talking to a parent who has shared a loss, asking questions of me, whatever. Stephen also participated in Jr High rodeo and as you probably know, we present his memorial award each year at the finals. Please know that your family has been lifted up in our prayers from the moment we heard about your terrible loss. I'm sure I may have seen you over the years, but cannot "place" you so IF we should see each other, please come up to me and introduce your self to me. I am getting old and have a terrible memory. I think for so long I prayed to FORGET most of the details about our son's murder, that it spilled over into forgetting other things I'd like to have remembered. I hope in time you can find some level of peace that we have now. In God's love,
