Robert McCraney

Robert Martin McCraney of Carriere, Mississippi passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the age of 55. Robert was born in Campbell, Missouri on September 14, 1969 to Archie Ray and Elizabeth Weaver McCraney. He was a professional pipefitter, enjoyed fishing and all things racing. In his spare time, he enjoyed building and working on race cars, watching races and spending time with his family and friends. Robert was a loving son, father, father-in-law, brother and “Poppy” to his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Taylor Cochran and nephew, Brett McCraney.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his children, Kayleb (Myranda) McCraney, Jarrett Cochran and Jenna Cochran; grandchildren, Karson McCraney, Karter McCraney, Kamden McCraney, Tierstan Cochran and Tessa Lane; great-grandchildren, Haizley Davis and Kahlani Tuthill; wife, Donna Bowen McCraney and brother, Jeauxl McCraney.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 10:00am until the service begins. Burial will immediately follow at George Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.
