Sally Anne Slade McClendon

Mrs. McClendon was born October 1, 1953 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Alonzo Earl “Cotton” Slade and Billie Mae Warner Slade Miller. She was a payroll clerk and a 1971 graduate of Poplarville High School.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Susan Rhea Slade.

Family members include her husband of 49 years, Charles E. McClendon; three children, Saleta (Allen) Gray, Chadrick (Elizabeth) McClendon, Emilie Boyd; one sister, Renee` (Kenny) Russell; eight grandchildren, Dustin Easterling, Alex Gray, Gunner Gray, Haley McClendon, Hannah McClendon, Hayden McClendon, Jeremy Boyd, Karmen Boyd; five great grandchildren, McKinley Easterling, Harper Rose Easterling, Addy Mae Easterling, Wyatt Easterling, Harrison McClendon; a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors

Graveside funeral services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery (589 Oak Hill Rd, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
