Steven was born and raised in California before relocating with family and settling down in Mississippi after High school. He spent his years in Pearl River County as a loving and devoted husband, father and son. He was a friend to many and foe to none. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends, studying his bible and praying for others. He was known to his coworkers as a hard worker with quick wit and a silly disposition. He was a master of the “dad joke” and never missed an opportunity to bring a smile to someone’s face. Steven always encouraged those around him and found joy in helping others. He had the ability to see the beauty in everything and the silver lining in every circumstance. Steven had a way of touching the hearts of everyone around him. His family finds great comfort in knowing he is resting peacefully in the arms of God and being reunited with those who have left this earth before him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his great grandmother Juanita “Ruth” Beavers, and his grandfathers Thomas Duane Johnson and Raul O. Sanchez.
Left to forever cherish his memory is his wife Mollie, son Dylan and daughter Charlee. His mother Jeri “JJ”, father Steve and stepdad John. His five sisters: Shianne, Aubrie, Ivory, Zoey, and Rose. His nephew, Corbin. His Grandmothers Diana, Alice, and Debra. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. All who loved him dearly.
A celebration of life service will be announced and held at a later date.
