Tan "Tony" Joseph Dardar

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Poplarville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation after 1:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dardar was born July 26, 1935 in Terrebone Parish, Louisiana to Anthony Joseph and Lucy Creppel-Dardar. A longtime resident of Poplarville; he was a retired tugboat captain and a member of Whitesand Apostolic Church.

Family members include three children: Anthony Joseph (Lisa) Dardar of Lafayette, LA, Joanne (Robert) Duncan of Bogalusa, LA, Royannis (Bobby) Pullens of Poplarville, MS; three siblings, Nita Pitrie of Marrero, LA, Walton Dardar of Crown Point, LA, Adam Dardar; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Ybarzabal-Dardar; and one brother, Erison Dardar.
