Mr. Herndon was an electrician and a United States Navy veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Katherine Dunn Herndon.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Burt of Poplarville, MS and Amanda Pace of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Peggy Fairchild of Poplarville, MS and Kathy Smith of Wiggins, MS; one brother, Ricky Herndon of Poplarville, MS; and two grandchildren, Corey Burt and Briahna Burt.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 6, 2013 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville with burial following in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
