Willie Brewer

Mr. Brewer was born February 22, 1924 in Pearl River County, Mississippi. He was retired from Movie Star, Incorporated; a member of Oak Hill Pentecostal Church; and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Brewer and Alice Arnold Brewer; his wife, Mary Jo Brewer; siblings, James “Snookie” Brewer, Annie Mae Jarrell, Marie Herndon, Ozella Herndon, Mamie Brewer, and Juanita Brewer Tate.

Family members include two children, Wayne Andrew (Natalie) Brewer, Wanda (the late Al) Brewer Carr; two stepchildren, Myra (Barry) Wells Barone, LaJuana Wells Gilbert; one sister, Ruby Lee Brewer Mills; grandchildren, Bryan Brewer (Janet) Mitchell, Jonathan (Dusty) Brewer, Ashlie Brewer (Will) Bennett, Joey (Kristen) Brewer, Jason Carr, Damon (Michelle) Carr, Marty (Paula) Carr; great grandchildren, Justin (Bailey) Carr, Linsy Carr, Taylor (Liz) Carr, Kelton (Korlie) Carr, Ally Carr, Evan Carr, Kaylee Carr, Henley Carr, Kaitlyn Brewer, Fischer Bennett, Landon Brewer, Luke Brewer, Lacey Brewer, Jessica Mitchell, Zach Mitchell,

Funeral services will be held at Oak Hill Pentecostal Church (604 Oak Hill Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Larry Head will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Sunday at the church.
