Willie Ray Morris Sr.

Funeral services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Thursday at the church.

Mr. Morris was born March 1, 1928 in Poplarville to Lee and Norfleet Guess Morris. He was a retired Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service. He was a retired Sergeant First Class with the Mississippi Army National Guard. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He was a member of the Poplarville Lion's Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Don Morris, Joe Morris, Clyde Morris, Robert Morris; two sisters, Emily White and Bertie Lou Tims.

Survivors include his wife, Nettie Morris; four children, Emma Rae Daniels, Donna Herrin (Vance), Janice Smith (Stuart), Ray Morris; one sister, Bonnie Wheat (Archie); two brothers, Pat Morris (Sherry), Herbert Morris (Ann); eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
